Brief bio

He obtained the Servo-Electrical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering 3-degrees at the University of Huelva and University of Sevilla, Spain; MARIE CURIE fellow at the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes as member of the Centre Nacional de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France) in 2003 and 2005; Ph.D. in 2004; Ph.D. European Award in 2005; Nominated to George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award of IEEE TAC in 2006. Currently Professor at the Systems Engineering and Automatic Control Department at the University of Seville (Spain) and Head of the Multi-Robot And Control Systems (MACS) research group. CNRS Visitor (France) since 2005 and Academic Visitor at Imperial College London (UK) in 2008-09-10 and 2011. He has served on the editorial boards of various scientific journals. Main interest in Nonlinear Control Theory & Applications with emphasis on Mechanical, Aerospace and Robotic systems.
