Brief bio

He obtained the Servo-Electrical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering 3-degrees at the University of Huelva and University of Sevilla, Spain; MARIE CURIE fellow at the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes as member of the Centre Nacional de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France) in 2003 and 2005; Ph.D. in 2004; Ph.D. European Award in 2005; Nominated to George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award of IEEE TAC in 2006. He currently holds a Professorship in the Systems Engineering and Automation Department at the University of Seville (Spain) and Head of the Multi-Robot And Control Systems (MACS) research group. CNRS Visitor (France) since 2005 and Academic Visitor at Imperial College London (UK) in 2008-09-10 and 2011. He has served on the editorial boards of various scientific journals. Main interest in Nonlinear Control Theory & Applications with emphasis on Mechanical, Aerospace and Robotic systems.
